Besides the various enamel guilds in the U.S., there is one national organization. Stone is former Board member of this organization. The web site provides resources for everything concerning enameling.

Enameling supplies are sometimes hard to come by. Here are some of the chief suppliers:

  • Enamelwork Supply is a one-person supplier. Coral Shaffer believes in customer service and her supplies are superior. She carries Japanese enamels and hard-to-find supplies.
  • Thompson Enamel is the chief manufacturer and supplier of enamels and enameling supplies in the United States. Publishes Glass on Metal 5 times a year.
  • Rio Grande is starting a new enamel supply catalogue for which Stone is a consultant.
  • Schlaifer's Enameling Supplies distributes Thompson Enamels on-line.
  • Vcella Kilns are the best made enameling kilns on the market.
  • Metalliferous is a supplier of copper shapes and miscellaneous metal supplies.
