Classes/WorkshopsStone teaches at The Crucible in Oakland, CA, where she is head of the enameling department. This year the department is adding new classes and new faculty. Stone's method of working is written up in 2 books:
AwardsStone is the recipient of the 2009 The Woodrow W. Carpenter Award from the Enamelist Society, which was established to honor those who are presently working to benefit the world of enameling. ExhibitionsStone's work was recently shown at Setting the Mood: The Artful Table sponsored by Craft Alliance in St. Louis. She is currently exhibiting in the Bay Area at the Richmond Art Center where she has 3 pieces in Innovations in Contemporary Craft and at Lireille Gallery in the Northern California Enamel Guild's 10th International Juried Exhibition where she is exhibiting 2 pieces. PublicationsOne of Stone's vessels is in Lark Book's 500 Enameled Objects. PressAn article about Stone and her work appeared in the British Society of Enamellers Summer '07 newsletter.
